Q. What is your professional background? Where do you work, and what is/was your role there?
A. I have been a Staff Accountant since 1995. I currently work in the Kansas City metro area for a soap company. This is my absolute favorite employer; I plan to retire from there.
Q. How it began: How long have you been off-roading? What drew you to the sport?
A. I own a 2024 Rubicon X named Schloppy Joe, which was purchased in Aug 2024. In January 2025, I was debating on selling it and getting another sporty car, but over the course of two weeks, he grew on me, and I decided to keep my rig. I would have never thought I would become a Jeep girl, but it was definitely my missing piece.
Q. Passions and Interests: What are your passions and interests related to the club’s activities? What motivated you to join the board?
A. I am extremely passionate about my jeep adventures, this club, and rock crawling. I am hopeful about transferring some of my exuberance to new members. I officially joined MWK in February 2025 and then had the honor of being voted in to be your Treasurer.
Q. Vision: What is your vision for the club’s future? How do you hope to contribute to its growth and success during your tenure on the board?
A. I am so excited and look forward to serving the club and helping it grow to be an even stronger presence within the greater KCMO community and beyond.
Q. Community Involvement: Are you involved in any other community organizations or initiatives that align with the club’s values?
A. N/A
Just for Fun
Q. Tell us something about yourself people may not know.
A. My nickname is Sunny. This has been with me since high school. Spend some time with me, and you’ll understand why that is! Also, I am a diehard Denver Broncos fan. No, you won’t change my mind, and yes, my team is the Best in the West!!
